Hello, my name is Howard. I began playing golf when my father retired. He would take me with him during the day to be his caddy at the local golf course in our small town in Ohio. At the time I was only five years old, but I wanted to spend as much time as I could with my father.
Going to the country club with him became my regular summer routine, and to this day, it is a pastime that we share. When I was about eight years old, I decided that I wanted to spend more time on the course with my father, so I began learning the game. Each summer when school let out, I would look forward to playing rounds of golf with my father.
The day that I finally played a better game than my father is a day that I will never forget. I was fifteen at the time, so I had been playing for a good seven years. I was basically tied with my father the entire game. If it took him two swings to get to the green, I was right there with him. We were neck in neck at the final hole when I somehow landed a hole in one. I had never been so lucky before, and it took me years to recreate that swing.
As a golf enthusiast, I have found that it is not always easy to keep up with the nuances of the equipment that you need to play the game. New putters, golf balls, and golf bags are always in the works, and it can be difficult to keep up with which ones are the best for your game.
I created this site to help others who have experienced this dilemma so that they can improve their game without concerning themselves with the details. Take a look around, there is some great information here that can greatly improve your golf game.
